Collaborative law – recent changes
with John Pollard
What are the pros and cons of bringing other professionals into the process at an early stage? And what has changed over the last 6 months?
Early participation of other professionals in a mediation is now more widely accepted. Previously, clients were reticent to spend extra money early on, but it has proved a sound investment for reaching an early resolution. Some professionals will even give an opinion free of charge.
John will present a mediation scenario and brain-storm with the group considering the needs of the parties using interest-based negotiation.
