| Demystifying high conflict: a series of practical strategies

Everyone has at some time in their working life come into contact with a high conflict personalities. These types of personalities pose particular problems in ADR work.
Dr Sandra Fenton has been working with the Victorian State Services Authority to develop strategies for managing high conflict behaviours.
Leading thinkers in the field such as Bill Eddy, Baruch Bush, Joseph Folger and Judy Saul have been consulted.
The strategies themselves have been tested by various Victorian public sector organisations and are outlined in the SSA's new book: Dealing with High Conflict Behaviours (cover above).
In this presentation, Dr Fenton will outline some of these practical strategies to add to participants' suite of tools for dealing with these behaviours.
About Dr Sandra Fenton
Dr Sandra Fenton specialises in the identification and implementation of empirically tested intervention strategies for managing high conflict personalities at work. She is an accredited mediator and has more than 15 years' experience in mediation. Her clients include organisations in both the public and private sectors.
