About Sarah Bolt
Sarah’s legal experience commenced as a Legal Executive with New Zealand Meat Industries Association in the late 80’s. Which was the largest employer at that time, employing around 36,000 workers.
In 1990 Sarah returned to South Australia and worked in private practice for a number of years specialising in Industrial and Employment law including Workers Compensation. She has represented both Employers and Employees.
From private practice she moved to South Australian Equal Opportunity Commission where she worked for a period of 7 years working primarily as Senior Solicitor and Conciliator.
Sarah has extensive experience in dispute resolution through years of having chaired some hundreds of conciliation conferences.
During 2002/3 Sarah was Station Leader at Mawson Station, Antarctica.
After returning from Antarctica Sarah returned, after 18 months absence, to her previous position with the South Australian Commission.
In November 2004, Sarah was the successful applicant, for the position of Anti-Discrimination Commissioner, Tasmania.
