About Jon Schauder
As a senior business consultant with CMA, registered psychologist and
registered mediator with the Industrial Relations Registry, Jon
Schauder has a reputation for setting new standards in expert executive and
personal coaching. Jon also offers his time as a member of the LEADR Victorian Executive.
Jon’s background has provided him with the
tools and experience to help professionals resolve their issues, expand
their skill sets and realise their personal and business potential. Jon prides
himself on designing progressions to match his clients' needs and priorities.
In 1998 Jon assisted Professor Roger Fisher at Harvard University Law
School to present the International Program on Negotiation. He has trained
well over 5000 people from Australia’s most well known organisations in
principled negotiation skills, mediation, communication, influence, team
building and relationship management and spent hundreds of hours
mediating and consulting on disputes and complaints, feedback systems
and leadership.
Time, stress and impact management are Jon's
special interests. He wrote his psychological thesis on attitude development and change.
He has lectured within the MBA program at Monash Business School, final
year Strategic Management and Marketing at Monash University’s School of
Economics and Commerce, and currently presents at Monash Law School in
both undergraduate and postgraduate negotiation and mediation subjects.
Jon was elected to the position of Chairman of the
Family Mediation Centre from 2000-2002.
About Margaret Halsmith
As Chair of LEADR, Margaret brings great energy and resolve ensuring that LEADR’s voice on behalf of its members is heard in all areas of dispute resolution.
Based in Western Australia, Margaret has most recently been Vice Chair of the LEADR Board and a Director for nearly three years as well as a keen and active member of the WA Chapter.
With a background in education and psychology, Margaret is dedicated to promoting dispute resolution throughout Australia. Her own practice provides mediation services for government, business and individuals. She is active in many spheres of dispute resolution throughout Australia including as a Co-Chair of the 9th National Mediation Conference to be held in Perth in 2008.
