The Chapter Executive invites you to:
the Victorian Chapter
Christmas Party
on Thursday 10 December
at Barça, Armadale
Come along and celebrate the end of the year with us at the stylish Barça restaurant in Armadale.
As well as dinner we'll cover the:
Top 10 tips for managing a “not so merry” Christmas
Facilitated by Nicole Cullen, Chapter Executive Chair.
The evening will include a facilitated compilation of conflict management strategies for dealing effectively with Christmas conflict. (Reframe: putting the cherry back on your Christmas pudding.)
About Nicole Cullen
Nicole Cullen is an ADR practitioner of long standing, yet when it comes to dealing with conflict at Christmas she really has no idea. Whilst quite good at managing other people's conflict, when it comes to negotiating the all important Christmas decisions with her own family, her routine and profound failure is only dwarfed by her total inability to side step conflict "on the big day". If you have ever doubted your own competence as a mediator at Christmas time or at all, then this session will restore your faith in yourself and your abilities, because no one does Christmas conflict like Nicole Cullen. In keeping with the trend towards reflective practice, Nicole will attempt to turn her failures around and will offer her 10 top tips for managing conflict at Christmas. Audience participation will bring additional perspectives on the vexing question about how to deal with Christmas conflict.
