Dialogue for solving problems & setting goals

with David Moore

Tuesday 31 August

  • speaker picHow can groups of people solve problems creatively?
  • How can we harness the creativity of groups and yet still make decisions?

In recent years, the best-selling The Wisdom of Crowds has popularised an important concept. Under the right conditions, groups can act with great intelligence, solving problems that none of the individual members might solve alone.

Yet in many organisations, groups of people struggle to make decisions efficiently and effectively.

One reason is the lack of an appropriate format for creative problem-solving.

This session examines a meeting format that supports both expansive dialogue and focused decision-making.
