What is the International Social Service?
on 24 June has been cancelled.
with Helen Freris, Service Coordinator, ISS Australia
International Social Service (ISS) is an international organisation providing social work services to families and children requiring assistance with matters which cross national borders.
Active in around 150 countries, ISS's work encompasses assisting families separated by relationship breakdown and children’s protection issues.
In 2005, ISS received funding to establish and run a program working with parents and children affected by international parental child abduction. This includes the provision of mediation-based support as well as support and training of professionals who encounter such families in their practice.
Helen Freris, a Service Coordinator with ISS, will provide an interesting summary of ISS's work and be available to answer your questions.
So join us at our WA Chapter LEADR Networking evening on Wednesday 24 June.
