Learn to assist clients to resolve disputes
How to fulfil the lawyers’ obligation in the Civil Dispute Resolution Act to advise and assist clients to take genuine steps to resolve a dispute
with Julie Walker
Tuesday 28 June 2011
This presentation and discussion will focus briefly on:
- developing more understanding of what lies beneath our conflict behaviours
- what we are learning about how people can make changes in the ways they handle conflict
- the processes that can be used to assist people to take ‘genuine steps to resolve a dispute’, and
- exploring the skills that can assist people to increase their capacity to see both sides of conflict situations and develop options for managing disputes more effectively.
Julie will be drawing from her years of experience as a practitioner and trainer in mediation and conflict coaching.
