Referral service: let LEADR find mediators for you

LEADR provides two levels of service to assist you to set up a mediation:

• Free referral service - LEADR will furnish the profiles of three available mediators for you to choose among.
• Extended facilitation service - for a negotiated fee, LEADR will assist you further in choosing a mediator and will handle the administrative arrangements of the mediation.

Free referral service

Since 1990, LEADR has operated this facilitation service, which puts parties in dispute in contact with mediators equipped to assist in the resolution of those disputes.

After consultation about the needs of the parties, LEADR provides the profiles of usually 3-5 sutiable mediators. LEADR does not recommend the use of any particular LEADR mediator or mediators. The parties make the final selection of mediator(s).

This referral service is provided free of charge. A fee for the mediator's services is negotiated with and payable directly to the mediator.

Extended referral service

LEADR can also assist you in:

• Choosing a mediator and organising a mediation
• Arranging a mutually convenient time and venue for the parties and the mediator for the preliminary conference mediation
• Notifying the parties and the mediator of the arrangements
• Organising the Agreement to Mediate and the exchange of any other documents.

These services are structured in a way which allows parties to use and pay for only those services they require.

LEADR has high standards for accreditation, which operates at two levels: Advanced and Accredited. You can select the level of the mediator you require. To read how LEADR Accreditation operates, download the current Accreditation Scheme >>.

You can select the specific type of dispute (such as family, contract or the like).  Where the dispute crosses several fields you can select each of those fields and this will narrow the search to only those who meet each criterion.
