Melbourne is the capital of the state of Victoria, and is a transport hub for South Eastern Australia. It straddles the lazy Yarra River, and is famous for cultural events, Aussie Rules football, shopping and coffee. Getting to the venue From:

Airport The main airport (Tullamarine) is located 25 km, 25 minutes North of the city, and is serviced by taxi (fare approximately $60) and 24 hour airport shuttle bus (Skybus fare $16). Note: JetStar and some other airlines go to another airport (Avalon) 60 km, 50 minutes South East of the city - taxi approximately $110, less by shuttle bus (SITA fare from $20).
Melbourne is renowned for its trams. The venue is at Albert Park, an easy 15 minute tram ride from the city. Catch trams numbered 3, 5, 6, 16, 64 or 67, alighting at tram stop number 27, at the corner of St Kilda Rd and High St. Trams travel down St Kilda Rd. Tram stop 27 is the closest to The Sebel and is a short walk down Lorne Street to the hotel. The closest train stations to the hotel are Prahran and Flinders Street.
