Lorraine Smith

Lorraine Smith, principal of Bridges of Understanding, has a background in background in education, law, commerce, farming, agri-business,  design. Lorraine is solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court, lecturer, teacher, trainer, mediator, mentor, facilitator and farmer.

An FDRP, LEADR Advanced mediator and accredited under the NMAS, Lorraine is on panels including NSW Law Society (and School Mock Mediation Sub-Committee), NSW Department Attorney General CJC, Courts, Rural Assistance Authority, Local Government, Land and Environment Court, ADRA, IAMA, coach (ACDC, LEADR, Trillium).

Lorraine is also guest lecturer ADR College of Law et al.

In the past, Lorraine has been an executive member LEADR; with Department of Fair Trading Building Mediation; Chair, Dispute Resolution Committee, NSW Motor Vehicle Repair Industry Authority; Chair, Veterinary Surgeons Investigating Committee; teacher; university course consultant and lecturer.
