  • Phillip Hart explores systematic, easily remembered, ready-to-use tools that can help parties make shifts that free up the conversation: the "narrative" approach to understanding how people "make meaning", externalising conversations and scaffolding. Through case studies, he explores how and when they might be useful in your practice.

Phillip Hart helps large groups of people have constructive conversations about contentious issues. He has many years experience in a wide range of contexts in the private, public and non-government sectors in:

    • communicating more effectively
    • helping people get the most from difficult negotiations.
    • resolving issues that have arisen amongst staff and clients

His previous conference presentations include "Tools for loosening the problem-story" as well as: “Conflict specialists and public confrontations”, “Connecting with a hostile audience” and “Riding the tiger: resolving complex many-party issues”.

Presented at NSW Chapter event on 27 February 2008
