‘kon gres 2009 is looking very exciting.
Expect a diverse range of high quality papers.
Presenters have taken seriously our request to provoke us to explore ideas drawing on original research, or extensive experience. By being engaged in stimulating discussion and activities, we will learn and leave ‘kon gres with new concepts and skills in our ADR toolkit.
Of course, it’s not all work. Generous lunch and tea breaks will provide time to network with colleagues. Those staying at the newly refurbished conference hotel will find spacious and comfortable lounge areas to meet informally with friends. And across the road is the expansive waterside Albert Park. So bring your walking shoes.
The Welcome Reception in the Waldron Hall of the County Court has been made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Victorian Government and the Liberty Group who manage the Court. This impressive space will contribute to the significance of this event and ‘kon gres overall.
The 21st Celebration Dinner at the National Gallery of Victoria starts with drinks and canapés in the glass domed Federation Square and continues with dinner (supplied by leading caterers Peter Rowland Catering) in the Great Hall with its spectacular stained glass ceiling. And yes, there will be dancing.
We warmly invite you to join us at ‘kon gres 2009. We look forward to meeting you there.
Fiona Hollier
Chief Executive Officer
